Research money from Vetenskapsrådet

Our researchers Sara Eldén and Terese Anving are two of the members in the project ”Significant others – informal social networks between policy and everyday life” that gained 441 000 SEK from Vetenskapsrådet.

Project description:
The primary objective of the workshop series is to bring together Nordic researchers in the field of family and personal relations across countries and disciplines, and to connect Nordic researchers with important international research environments in the field. The creation of a network of researchers will enable us to gain understanding of the changing landscape of informal social relations in the Nordic countries; to develop innovative methodological strategies for studying informal relations; and to work together on future collaborative and comparative research projects both within the Nordic region and with partners in other countries. The secondary objective is to integrate early-career researchers in the field into the existing research environments and enable them to develop their interest in the field of personal relations, discuss papers and proposals with experienced researchers, and participate in the development of future proposals.
