Student rights may involve things such as student participation, students' work environment, how to conduct exams and degree projects and much more.

Student influence (pdf)

"In order to make it easier for students to exercise influence over their education and situation, all regulations governing student influence are gathered in a single document. It consists of Lund University’s policy for student influence and the University’s regulations for student influence."

Study and work environment

"As a student, you are equated with an employee in the Work Environment Act, albeit with a few exceptions. Here is a list of what a secure study and work environment should be like for you as a student at Lund University."

"The student unions handle politics and student rights and are extremely active in contributing to the way in which the University is run. Through the student unions, students are represented in decision- and policy-making boards that concern education at every level within Lund University."

"This guide is mainly intended for students at the Faculty of Sciences. Its purpose is to provide you with support so that you dare to take steps if you are subjected to discrimination, harassment and/or victimisation. "


Cheating, disruption and harassment

"Cheating and disruptive behaviour are disciplined with a warning or suspension. A basic rule for students at Lund University is: don’t cheat. However, it is sometimes difficult, especially for new students, to know what is required."

Alcohol and drug policy

"Students should be aware that tobacco and alcohol are the only legal drugs in Sweden if you are of age to consume them. All other drugs including marijuana, hash, cocaine, mushrooms or others are illegal! If one is found in possession of or under the influence of such drugs (in or out of school hours), it is a criminal offence and may have serious consequences."
