- Domestic terrorism
- Media production processes and journalism
Current research
Currently I am engaged in the ERC-financed project VIRTUTRIALS, which investigates how digital technology is used and impacts the trial process in Swedish courtrooms. The project employs qualitative methods, including ethnographic observations and interviews with various actors within the justice system, to understand how technology is changing the legal practices and processes. I am interested in how the courtroom acts as a mirror for society and what that reflection can tell us about cultural practices, norms and power.

Background
I have studied sociology and political science and have a master in Global Studies from Lund University. In previous research I have investigated the ways in which the news frames and contextualizes complex social problems, such as domestic terror, intimate partner violence and polarized political messaging.
