Current research
My research interests centre on disability, citizenship, activism and the right to non-discrimination. I received my PhD from Uppsala University, where I studied the claims of disability activists in Sweden – the thesis was published as a book for Routledge entitled “Disability and Citizenship Studies”.
In my current postdoc project, I set out to explore how "disability discrimination" is understood in two different contexts: Sweden and the United States.
