Current research
I am currently doing a PhD as part of Lisa Flower’s ERC project “Virtutrials” focusing on the elusiveness of corporeality and physicality in virtual interaction.
The aim of the overall project is to explore the social components of virtual trials by examining aspects of emotions, spatiotemporality, justice rituals and embodiment.
My individual project will focus on plaintiffs and defendants experience regarding participation and feeling recognized in the juridical process.
Background
I have a bachelor’s in social anthropology and a master’s in sociology. I have previously focused my research on sex work, latest being digital sex workers' creation of intimacy through an emotional, sensorial and embodied lens.
