The course gives students in Gender Studies the opportunity to undertake a semester-long internship. The internship connects gender theoretical and methodological knowledge to qualified work tasks in organisations in the public, private or non-profit sectors.

The course consists mainly of internship work, combined with seminars and written assignments. Students are responsible for finding a suitable placement, which must be approved by the department.

Internship agreement

A written internship plan/agreement must be established as soon as the internship placement has been confirmed. The agreement is drawn up in dialogue between the student, the host organisation and the Department of Gender Studies, and must be approved before the start of the course.
