The research environment Sociology of Work and Profession (SWAP) organise its first seminar for the fall. Jon Sunnerfjell, PhD in sociology and lecturer at School of Health and Welfare at Halmstad Högskola, gives a presentation titled “Från bruksmentalitet till anställningsbarhet? En etnografisk studie av vardagen i två arbetsmarknadspolitiska projekt".

For new staff in the department interested in the sociology of work and labour studies, SWAP meets on average two times a month to discuss ongoing and recently finished work. On occasion, we invite researchers from other universities in Sweden and abroad to present their work. We meet for both shorter lunch seminars (12-13) and more extensive afternoon seminars (13-15).
