Do you have news about a newly published book or article? Send the details to the department’s web editor using the template below.

Our goal with research news on the website is to give the public—including our students—a brief and accessible insight into the research happening at the department. That’s why we ask you to write in a way that’s easy to understand for a broad audience.

Submit Your Research News

Send the following information to the web editor at webbredaktor [at] soc [dot] lu [dot] se (webbredaktor[at]soc[dot]lu[dot]se).
If possible, please provide the text in both Swedish and English so we can publish it on both language versions of the website.


What to include:

  • Author(s): Full name, title, and a link to each author’s profile in Lucris
  • Title of the publication
  • Link to the publication
  • Type of publication: Is it an article, book, report, etc.? Where was it published?
  • Suggested headline: Max 90 characters to ensure it displays well on all screens
  • Summary (100–300 words):
    Please describe the publication in a way that’s accessible to a broad audience. You can include:
    • What is the study about?
    • Why are the results interesting?
    • What is the most important finding?
    • Were there any surprising results?
  • About the study (if relevant):
    • How was the research conducted? (e.g., “First we did X, then Y…”)
    • What happens next? Will there be follow-up studies or publications?
  • Additional materials:
    Feel free to include links, images (e.g., book cover, author portrait), or other media related to the publication.
