Mandatory introductory meeting

The course starts with a mandatory introductory meeting.

2 December at 13:00–14:00,
G:a lungkliniken (House G) room 125, street address Sandgatan 11 

IMPORTANT! Attending the introduction alone is not sufficient to be enrolled in the course; you must also register for it (see web registration information below).

The introduction is directly followed by a lecture 14:00–15:00, also in room 125. 

Find your schedule in TimeEdit. Search for course code SOCN23. How to find the street address: click on the address in the column for Rooms; click on the address (Rooms) again; now you will see the street address.

Web registration period: 25 – 30 November 

You register for the course in Ladok for students. Please use your student ID to log in.

Entry requirements, please look at the syllabus. Students who are admitted with conditions may need to contact us for individual assessment and help with registration but make an attempt first, otherwise please contact your study adviser (see contact details below).

Please observe that you will lose your place on the course if you have not registered within the web registration period and have not contacted the study administration before the deadline. Schedule, course literature, learning platform and more

Please find links to schedule, course literature, syllabus and login page to our learning platform Canvas on the page for literature and syllabi.

The course page will be published one week ahead of course start at the latest, and students will only gain access to it then. To keep your access to the course page in Canvas, you must have completed your web registration. If you have not done your web registration in time, access to the course page will be removed the day after the web registration deadline. On the website Current students you will find shortcuts to Ladok, Canvas and Webmail. Here you can also read about different events and last but not least you will find the link to 'Studying in a digital world', which offers great support about e.g. Canvas, Zoom, AI and study techniques. On the same website you will also find information about your rights and responsibilities as a student.
