Research
My research examines the interplay between the legal sphere and the wider society. My current research interest is on identifying how physicality and the absence thereof shapes contemporary trials and participation within in order to show if and how trials can retain their legitimacy and fairness in virtual settings. I explore themes of interactions, emotions, digitalisation, and space.
I am Coordinator for the Qualitative Research Methods Lab at the Lund Social Science Methods Lab.
Teaching
My teaching interests include criminology, emotion sociology, symbolic interaction, and ethnograhy.
I have previously been Coordinator for the Undergraduate program in Criminiology and Course coordinator for Criminology: Sociology.
I have been awarded an Excellent Teaching Practitioner status by the Faculty of Social Science's Teaching Academy.
